We're family-owned, and we've been painting Mobile and Baldwin County since 2013 — the same year Bright Academy opened its doors. So when we got the chance to help out a school right here in our own backyard, it was an easy yes.
Bright Academy is the only full-day program on the Alabama Gulf Coast built specifically for kids with dyslexia. Gina Englund started it in 2013, and the team uses individualized, multi-sensory, therapeutic instruction to meet each student where they are. That kind of work deserves a space that feels just as cared-for as the teaching that happens inside it.
Pro 1 Painters donated painting services to help refresh the school's learning environment. A clean, bright room is a small thing next to what the staff at Bright Academy do every day — but it's our way of saying thank you, and of putting our crews to work for a cause that's making a real difference for local families.
We love to paint, and it shows. We're proud our brushes got to play a part in a place that's helping Mobile kids find their footing.
Bright Academy, formerly Bright Beginnings Academy, is a Mobile, AL school dedicated to students with dyslexia — the only full-day, dyslexia-focused program on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
