Mulherin Home
Painting work donated by Pro 1 Painters in Mobile, AL.
Mulherin Home has been part of the fabric of Mobile since 1952, when Dr. Hugh Mulherin opened its doors. Today it's a nonprofit and United Way agency that gives up to about 34 adults with developmental disabilities a real home — a loving, family-style place with 24-hour custodial care.
What strikes you about Mulherin Home is how much it feels like a family rather than a facility. The staff pour themselves into the people who live there, and the building should feel every bit as welcoming as the care inside it.
Pro 1 Painters donated painting services to help maintain the Home's welcoming environment. We're family-owned, we've been painting Mobile and Baldwin County since 2013, and there's no better use of a day than helping a place like this look its best for the people who call it home.
Hear from Mulherin Home in the video below. We love to paint, and it shows — and we're honored to have helped a Mobile institution that's been caring for its neighbors for over seventy years.
